COMMANDER'S MESSAGE FOR POST SCRIPT

(March, April and May 2008)

Commander’s Message
:
This will be my final message to Post 38 since my deployment date is expected to arrive any day now.  I would like to thank the Post Officers for their support and hard work.  I hope the changes that were made improves the Post and , in turn, draws new members.  Beginning this March we will start our meetings at 1930 hours (7:30).  My goal was to shorten the meetings so that we could spend more time in fellowship.  At this time I would like to remember Bob (Pappy) Shreve.  Over the years Pappy did a lot for the Post and has been instrumental in preserving the customs and traditions of The Last Mans Club during his leadership.  I know I shall miss him.  Post 38 has lost an effective leader and a great American.  In closing I would like to thank all the members of Post 38 for their support of our Post and its various obligations.  It is our members that make Post 38 what it is and I sincerely thank each of you for the opportunity to serve as your Commander.

FOR GOD AND COUNTRY,
Steve Pecorelli
